If you have followed the RunBuzz podcast for any length of time, you have probably heard me talk about the importance of balance and strength exercises for runners. A strong muscle is an injury resistant and fatigue resistant muscle.

In today’s post, I wanted to share a video I found on YouTube that includes some of my favorite lower body balance exercises. These exercises can be done by runners of any experience level. Many of these exercises will also hit your core stability and balance as well. The key thing to remember with any exercise is to engage your core when doing the exercises which will help you maintain your form and target the appropriate muscles. Also, remember to do the exercise on each side, where appropriate.
